What time is everyone rolling out? I need to get some paperwork done in the morning but I should be free after 1:00.

Posted on Sweetwater Facebook page today.

A few boats launched out of Sweetwater today. With the winds fishing was pretty tough. Never got report of any limits. Just reports of catching a few Redfish. The fishing should progress each day.

We should be getting a load of shrimp here in the next day or so. We will let everyone know quickly when we do. We will be getting 50 pounds of dead bait tomorrow.

Charters and lodging are still available for June and are starting to book for July. A small deposit will secure your date. Call the lodge for dates and reservations.

Come visit us in Delacroix at Sweetwater where customer is KING!

*fish cleaning when available*
*valet parking*
*taxi service*
*back down and pick up help*

A few essentials every OBer should consider for this excursion:

Chairs
Trash Bags
Mosquito dope
Ketchup
Paper Plates
Cooking Utensils
Seasonings of choice
Pillow
Sheet/ bedding

I will think of more and update back.

Coming from Shreveport, should I - Take 190 from Opelousas to BR then I-10

or

- Go through Lafayette, take 90 to NOLA so I can bypass anything that might happen on the basin bridge?

Use the Waze app. Don't have it download for free. 190 will be the correct answer 95% of the time.

I take 190 100% of the time.

That must be a 6+ hour drive for you? It takes us 4 solid hours from Prairieville to Keatchie.

No way I'd consider 10 across the Basin coming from Shreveport. 190 all day long and twice on Sunday.

About 6 miles before the 190 exit is the Washington Exit. SLOW DOWN to UNDER the speed limit at this exit.

Pop, if you get hungry or want some of the best boudin and boudin balls, stop at Billy's mini mart in Krotz Springs off of 190.

Wick, thanks for the heads up, and I will definately have Waze running.

Hog, Im on a mission for good boudin and the concensus says Billys, anxious to get some.

He's talking about going 90 through Morgan city people. Not 190.
