Had a damn good hunt in the rain. Got soaked but had a 3 man limit of most greys and 2 woodies by 750. Could have sat all day and shot greys, they were everywhere.

I'm back in the same area as this morning this time up the road, on a ridge, in a ladder.

Too windy, hopefully it lays before dark.

230 2/8" is what they came up with. 31 scorable points. I knew he'd go over 200" but had no clue he'd go that high. We were using a tattered piece of rope and a hard tape measure so that's a very rough green score but all that trash added up quickly.

Ground blind in overgrown hay field. Learned the importance of the blind stakes. Just chased the blind across the field.

Some animals are starting to move. Hopefully the deer get up too
