Assumption parish
Stand in the woods
39° and calm
Remington 700 .270
Bucks only
Jumped a few sets of eyes coming in

I can say, if the Sitka jackets and pants work like the face mask does being less bulky, I may drop some coin on some one day. Best face mask I’ve ever had to date

Good luck OB

REB jr and I are hunting the same high line 2 miles apart. He’s been on the highline all week and seen deer every hunt so I thought I’d give it a try. I haven’t seen 1 since Monday morning and we’ve hunted every morning and evening.

First hunt this season. Haven't killed a deer in a few years due to missed chances and limited hunts. Hoping to end that this morning. Good luck to the rest of y'all!

Had a button come in eairler, quite since then. This is my fifth day hunting in past six days. 4am wake ups starting to take its toll and deer activity has decreased last few days for me. Rest of the week is fricked for weather so I'm going to try and stick it out all day again today. May go home at lunch if I dont wake up.

Good luck y'all

They’re fun to watch. Just had a spike walk around in circles in the middle of the high line for about 5 minutes.

Gotta say i enjoy the ease of using the ldwf app to check in and out of wma. Saves time and hassle of that stupid paper check in.

No deer seen today but plenty of sign. I think they are holed up with acorns. Usually I have several deer eating corn in my backyard and lately its been rotting because they arent eating it

Gotcha. I was in the jeep. Been hunting that northside sporadically for 7-8 yrs. Its a hike and I see zero deer often but its quiet and low traffic. And 10 mins from the house.
