Ground blind in an open field along some thick woods
Rut is on. Buddy shot a 9 pt chasin yesterday out of this spot.
He said as he was loading the deer into his truck, smaller bucks were still chasin in the field and just completely ignored him

We're pretty close to each other. I heard what sounded like an artillery barrage go off at first light and haven't heard anything since.

Ladder between creek and half green food plot. Same spot a doe made me last week.

15 yr old is in a box with his 7mm-08 that produces every year, but the plot is mostly dirt. He got shut out last year, so I'm hoping he sees one.
