a mag full of 77gr TMK.
I thought their thing was the TGK, but either way that’s just a whole lot of different strokes and probably not much difference in terminal performance between the two. I don’t want to get shot by a .223 in the ribs and they shoot enough to ensure it’s going in the right place so I get it, just so much less margin for error if you absolutely want to recover that one animal.

I hunt with a cannon. You don't have to convince me. It's a very interesting study to read.

I used the 130 gr TSX at 3200 fps and lost 3 deer.
That's interesting, as I've been shooting the 130gr with no issues. I've been really happy with it.

A serious rifleman and good bullets can do damage with most any caliber.
My most recent experience with a 22 caliber was helping track on deer shot by a .22-250. No idea what bullet. The shooter felt strongly that he’d hit both buck and doe, but no blood was found. We put my friends threat blood dog on the trail. He ended up getting gored by the buck. No buck or doe recovered. Vet bill to sew up the blood dog.

TSX are great bullets, and the TTSX are even better.
I stayed away from the Barnes bullets for a while after an experience with the original X bullet. I stalked in on a bedded mule deer to sixty yards. He stood from his bed and I shot him through the lungs with a 270 WBY mag. He fell back in his bed. We could find no entrance hole until we skinned him out. I just wanted more expansion for whitetails back home.
I’ll probably kill some deer with a TTSX out of my 257 this fall.

I was shooting 270wsm. Now I'm shooting 270 win. I believe Barnes came out with the TTSX because of TSX bullets not expanding and just pencil through. I love Barnes bullets. It's all I use hunting.

I gotcha. I'm shooting the 130gr through the 6.5 CM. These are at 2770fps.

Mine loves them. They group extremely well and do just the job you want from them.
I've moved to Barnes TTSX for all my hunting ammo these days. I like them in the smaller calibers (.257 and .243) to make sure they hold together and punch through and in the larger calibers so they don't ruin a bunch of meat.
