Trying my luck at a mid day hunt with the full moon. Also because my babysitter couldn't make it back til 9:30.

Hunted out there yesterday and camped last night. Skipped this morning. The road sounded like the interstate.

Update. Missed a nice buck this morning. Not entirely sure what happened. Had him at 35. Let the 30pin sit middle of the good stuff. First miss with the bow. Went way low. No excuses. I rushed the shot thinking he was gonna pull the pin. That won’t happen again. Also went to grab a climber from cabelas right after. I’ve seen a ton of bucks moving through this trail down my powerline. Hoping to close the distance on one tomorrow. Hopefully y’all can hold the pin a little better than me today!

Yes, you are correct but hunting a DMAP piece today. Better to speak up though in case someone didn't check the regs.
