I cannot believe they cut out 2/3 of the steeple chase. They couldn’t cut out a semi??

Yeah they showed the entirety of the women’s final last night; they should have at least shown the final 6 laps of the men’s. Good run by the American to get silver — he was putting in max effort on that last lap. Ethiopian guy took a nasty fall there towards the end there. It looked like he got knocked out cold. They took him to the hospital but said he is okay.

I'm kind of amazed at how solid the Poles are at track. They seem to be about the fastest Caucasians in the world, along with the Dutch.
Netherlands has a long Colonial history though and has talent pools in the Caribbean. The Poles have none of that. Their female sprinters in particular seem to be pretty deep for such a medium-sized Eastern euro nation.

Saw some US shot putter lady wearing sunglasses and a full face mask like she just came from robbing a bank. It was pretty weird looking.

What else do you expect out of TSUN? She's huge into BLM and protested at the 2021 Olympic Trials.
She is one person that I wouldn't mind seeing compete for another country or falling over the toe board 3 times. Hopefully she misses the cut to 8 and the other US chick gets onto the podium.
