Damn. Ol’ girl was just too good.

Either way, Silver is still a huge accomplishment.

US choked on a dick the last two ends

For as good as they were all tournament, they couldn’t hit a single shot the last two ends

Two big missed in that last end cost them.. whiffed on the double/triple takeout and then just wasted a stone too long.

I love how they tout the girls as having a higher shot % than the men. But the men literally do ALL of the sweeping. Like 100%.

Is John Schuster still on the curling team or has he retired?

Men should be competitive... the women have never medaled.

That mixed silver is our first ever medal for a woman in curling.

Watching the post medal interactions on Peacock they knew they screwed up today. Both have that look of hey we got a medal but we should have had the Gold.

The old saying, "you win the Bronze but you lose the Gold." Silver medal is like that sometimes.

The reality is some days it’s your day, some days it isn’t. I hesitate to say they choked as much as the woman from Sweden was incredibly good today and threw some big stones.

Both teams seemed off throwing today in the gold medal match. Perhaps they are just great at playing defense?

100%

Yesterday they beat the Italians with a near perfect performance. Today they had two ends where they just couldn’t make it happen.

I was really hoping they would make it happen. Thiesse and Dropkin are likable figures for the sport.
