No way Glover gives any money back

The past couple of years, Boudreaux's has been totally rented out long-term to one of the O&G companies, and Coco was the only place remaining that could accommodate our size group. It's just frustrating when I hear from so many friends with beach rentals where the owner or rental copy is giving them their deposit back no questions asked.

Like tgrbaitn08 said, he is a dick. My deceased uncle knew Johnny well and we would actually launch at CoCo for free. But, I have heard enough stories to know that there is no shot on a deposit return.

I wonder how many people's tuna, that they've had cleaned at Coco, have ended up on someone else's plate at the restaurant.

Andre' Boudreaux is a great guy, but he has gotten extremely lucky to have his whole place rented out in this economy and now this spill.

I'm wondering where Houma's water supply comes from?

Comes from bayou black which is tied into the intracoastal. If oil gets into the Houma Nav there is a real chance it could get into the water supply.

Definitely a dick. We had two houseboats at Cocomarina from about 92 until 2003. When he started paving the roads he blocked in my boat shed that we were paying $1200/yr for. When asked for a refund since I couldn't get into my shed due to the construction he said no. We closed our corporate account and pulled the houseboats. We spent over $3000/month down there in the summer time.

Good link I can't figure out how Grand Isle can reopen to fishing when oil is washing up that far west on Coon Point. Probably just a matter of time before they re-close the area between Belle Pass and Empire.

Cocodrie Have not posted in a while. Cocodrie is full of oil the beaches have a good amount and the oil has come in all passes. The 72 hour forcast shows more oil coming around the tip of southwest pass and making another bee line for us. Grand isle and surrounding areas seem to be spared from the current patterns. I feel for Capt Ron and all my old friends in Venice as you guys can't seem to get a brake. We finally had a full year last year in the middle of country wide economic fallout and now this. Makes it hard to keep going on. This year would have been our best year ever with bookings. We will drive on and prevail. Finally had the place back in shape after Hurrican Gustav gave us a direct hit and Ike tried to flood us out. Our customers have deceided to cancel until the leak is contained or stopped. With the current weather patterns and oil traveling under the water column you just don't know when it will pop up again. We have tried to fish in the areas still open but we are so limited. Good luck to all of you. Kind Regards Capt Bryce Michel Topwater Charters LLC

Chauvin and Montegut will be screwed. I wouldn't be surprised if they stop all saltwater fishing in Terrebonne south of the locks. Basically from Bush Canal South. I am supposed to be heading to the camp for father's day weekend. Our camp is just past Robinson Canal.

I would not be suprised if they close areas in Dularge also. If/when that happens I guess I will be dusting off my old fresh water tackle.

Our camp is about 1 mile before the end of the road. Looks like we will only be going down there to drink.

Same here. As long as the water is still clean inland we may throw the tube in the water and pull the kids even if we can't fish. Those pictures Tommy Pellegrin put up on rodnreel and I posted here were taken in Terrebonne Bay on monday according to his caption. If that is the case then surely the oil must have made it into Lake Barre and the marshes just south of Montegut Chauvin as there is no land in between Terrebonne Bay and Lake Barre. Pretty much one body of water now.

This does suck. I will have a report tomorrow. I am going to the camp tonight to run my net. It is between Bayou Terrebonne and Lake Barre. Hopefully we can fill the freezers before LDWF close it for good.

Looks like there will be lots of beer drinking and card playing around the camp this summer.

Damn Dude, you sure ask for a lot from little Johnny. Why should you expect a refund just because you couldn't get to your boat or into your shed?
