Welcome to Lafayette, the oilfield service company capital of the world, or so it was in 2010.

Good luck to you.

You may be cementing wells in Viet Nam or Nigeria. I hear the weather is nice there this time of year.

Bad attempt at humor, I know. I wish someone could make me laugh these days.

Halliburton would be my guess with Schlumberger running a close second

Good luck man. I remember on the drilling rig I was on getting jealous of the cement guys who hung out in the kitchen all day while I was slaving away...

Good luck to you!

See if you can find anything out about Numar. They are or were a subsidiary of Halliburton that I helped start up in the '80's. We developed a magnetic resonance logging tool and I'd love to know whatever happened to that technology.

You just became part of the problem and not the solution.

Best of luck to you. Please bring down the price of energy, it's a noble cause no matter what the haters say.

I'll spend aug through dec in oklahoma training so hopefully (big if) things will have settled down a bit by then. Sounds like you catch all land jobs in the brgining anyway.
