So because one lawyer says their conduct is criminal you take it as the truth and create a thread proclaiming it.

It'd be foolish to bet against the likelihood of criminal charges at this point. More likely to happen than not.

BP executives and employees may face criminal charges in the following areas:

- Falsifying documents (plans submitted to MMS) in violation of 18 U.S.C. Sec. 1001 makes one subject to fines/imprisonment

- Clean Water Act - a person who knowingly makes false material statements or representations in any application, record, report, plan or other document required under the Clean Water Act is subject to fines/imprisonment.

- Homicide related charges - if falsifying of documents is proved to be connected with the 11 deaths, second-degree murder charges are possible. Also, Involuntary Manslaughter or Negligent Homicide charges are not beyond the realm of possibility.

I believe that criminal charges will be filed and some will be convicted and do jail time.
