Los Adais near there was capital of Spanish Tejas in the 1700s. The Indians in that area are Apaches who migrated to Louisiana from New Mexico and West Texas about the same time to get away from the Comanches, who were wrecking shite after having recently acquired horses. IIRC the Zwolle Apaches are a federally recognized tribe.
The town itself only dates to around 1900 when the railroad went through there. One of the investors was Dutch and it is named after his hometown in Holland.

It's Sepulvado. And the only other families there are named Ebarb or Rivers.
If the girl is good looking, check her ID. They can be gorgeous at about 16 to 19, but they have a hard expiration date.
The folks there are a blend of the native Americans and Spanish who colonized the area (while the French set up shop in nearby Natchitoches). Wikipedia says "Spanish soldiers and Native people intermarried over many generations, and colonial Spanish (not Mexican Spanish) was still spoken in the area until the 1970s."
