My wife just started teaching. I think she might quit after just three weeks. There is literally nothing she can do for these people. She gave her first test last week, it was multiple choice and most of them just wrote their name on the test and didnt bother to answer any of the questions. Yay "No Child Left Behind".

Yet out leaders would have you believe that our schools are failing these students who so desperately want to improve their lives. That's because those who should be held accountable will never be held accountable. They pull the levers that put ignorant policy makers on education in office.

Also, Placebeaux, don't try to reason with people here over the actions of the teacher. They have no idea. As a teacher in a situation where a fight breaks out, you're damned if you do (intervene), and damned if you don't.

It is designed so that administrators don't have to explain to lawyers why they used/didn't use common sense or judgement.

Have you seen the uproar when this does happen.
I see this all the time. When the hell did this happen? I'm only 26 but when shite like that happened when I was in school, teachers put an end to it real quick(if they were physically capable).

Did parents of shite kids figure out there's a buck to be made when their piece of shite kid gets wrecked for being a piece of shite?

Why not just scrap the policy? Where does the uproar come from?

I give props to the dude for not hitting her. It must have been really hard to restrain from doing so.

what is it with black people and constantly repeating the same thing over and over

I think it has more to do with being teenagers.

The teacher should be suspended / terminated.
The girl should be arrested.
The guy should be suspended 1 day - for profanity. If anything.
