You guys didn't know this? Admins whack threads that go against rules, and they delete threads they personally don't like. And if they don't delete them, they will anchor them. I read some TulaneLSU's thread. I'm not an atheist, and his thread was not my 'cup of tea', but I would have left it alone. And to think some of the trash and garbage allowed on this and other boards, and some admin gets his underwear in a knot over it just because he doesn't like it, or it hurts his feelings.

I have been banned for BS in the past and I was pissed about it but got over it. This is a free forum that does as best as it can with volunteer admin. It is what it is.

It’s subjective but I find his posts well written, generally humorous and clever, and unique. We’ve got a thousand posters who are interchangeable, like you and me. There’s nothing wrong with a shtick. And don’t say it’s worn out when he goes months between threads.

Is that worship? I’d go to bat for most any poster who puts a little effort into their threads and give this place a little flavor out of the ordinary German stuff.
Whatever admin whacked it knows he didn’t have a good reason.
TulaneLSU’s thread was better than a lot of other ones. It should be brought back.

Yea that I agree with. The OT is not what it used to be but on the flip side, I understand that it's a business at this point. It started off for fun and when Chicken saw the potential to pay his bills and make money off of it he leaned into it. I can't blame him but it does suck how badly it neutered the old OT through more censorship and more boards being added. Both of those are to attract more sponsorship opportunities.

I didn't see the thread and don't care to be honest. Unlike some here, I usually ignore posters or threads I am not interested in. I clicked on this one because it's one of the few getting posts today.
