I always think this take is funny. In general people (particularly ones over 30) seem to think content creation and building a social media fanbase takes no talent. My response to them is to point out the best ones are making millions of dollars a year, so if it takes no talent why are you slubbing away for pennies in comparison.
The reality is that while "we" make not recognize the talent or not think of it as a legitimate or worthy talent the marketplace disagrees.
