YouTube ads

So I noticed this at the beginning of the pandemic, every single video I watched got one unskipable ad and one skip-able one. I had previously maybe gotten one before most videos.
Now not only do I get the two pre video ads but on almost all videos I watch now I get 1-2 ads mid video. This only used to happen on very long videos. AND on top of that I now get an ad at the end of the video too.
I feel YouTube knows I watch a ton of YouTube and is trying to break me into signing up for YouTube premium

I don't have abp on my phone. So every once in a while when I watch a youtube on the phone I'll be surprised/reminded of the ads.

YouTube ads just make you angry and hate whatever they are trying to sell. That's because they get between you and the content. A lot of times that ads pop up out of nowhere during a video.

I understand ads, but it kills me when they come before a movie trailer. The trailer is a commercial.

I unknowingly signed up for premium for 6 months in feb 2021. it expired last month and the withdrawls of ad-free youtube is probably going to suck me back in
