When I'm presented with something that I have a kneejerk reaction to discard out of hand, I always try to make an effort to at least spend a few minutes with it to see if I can find some merit to it. Maybe I had initially misunderstood and wasn't giving it a fair shake at all, or maybe there's just something I can learn.

So in that spirit, I went and read the original article that the linked article was referencing: LINK

Just... vapid. Even the parts that I initially read and made me think "ok, taken at face value, this isn't unreasonable..." fell apart as boring and vapid when I would read it again. Maybe his books are better, but considering I've never heard of him before, I doubt it.

No one with any intelligence needs an explanation. They aren’t traumatized by the word at all. It’s just a game played to gain advantage.

Well, these people are the absolute enemy of that freedom and liberty, make no mistake about that. They are enemies of all this nation stands upon, plain and simple. They tell you that every time they open their mouths, or push agendas that scream they are the very antithesis of what this country was founded upon.
