Europe and the US, you certainly notice a difference in how much more drugs are prescribed here.
Socialized medical systems don't want to pay for drugs; if you're a private payer in the EU (which I have been) they will write you a RX for whatever. But, a pharmacist can also give you things over the counter that you can't get in the US without a prescription, like contacts and other meds.

OLOL will care for you as a patient more than Ochsner... Ochsner cares about the bottom line, more than any other hospital, from my experience and connections within healthcare systems

Both OLL and Ochsner are not for profit. I know research and thinking are hard.

Honest opinion. It depends on what condition and if you need acute care (hospitalization) or outpatient visits. Like everywhere else the care you get is dependent on the provider and the nursing staff. If you can expand a bit I would be happy to give a perspective.

im well aware of their status... they ain't doing the shite out the goodness of their heart... they absolutely make money, in order to keep the place running, but OLOL will at least give a shite and not cut as many corners in their care for their patients, as Ochsners does...

A lot of patients also don't talk or ask questions of their providers, including nurses, when they have the chance. They develop regrets after discharge, and then blame the medical providers. Shitty patients are partially responsible for unsatisfactory care.
It's one reason I like Amazon's OneMedical. If I remember something after a cheap appointment, I can fire off a message, and I'll get responded to within 24 hours, and it's covered by my $100/year sub.

American doctors #1 goal is to get you addicted to drugs. Take a pill….never trust it.
A pill twice a day for the past six years has literally saved my life.

I’ve been reading about that service lately. It doesn’t sound bad, honestly.
