Day after thanksgiving

This is the only correct answer and will back it up with well thought out reasoning.

1st reason and really the only one that matters is ….because that’s when the wife wants to do it.

No, but seriously.
1.Day after Thanksgiving means there is no other holiday left before Christmas so it’s appropriate to start thinking about it.
2.Most people have a 4 day weekend, so there is ample time to put up decorations.
3. It’s a ton of work setting up tree and lighting the house. By doing it a day or two after Thanksgiving you are maximizing your time to enjoy them. If you wait til week of Christmas you are doing a ton of work to enjoy for one week.

Bonus…Ok to leave up til New Years but need to come down on New Year’s Day.

We’ll probably do all our decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. Staying home this year so really looking forward to the decorating.

Thanksgiving dinner must be complete before the Christmas tree goes up, Christmas music is played, or eggnog is consumed.
