It's amazing how many items on ebay never receive a bid, yet they never drop the price.

Dropping the price $2 may be the difference in making a profit and losing money.
I can't believe people are willing to take the time to ship something and all else that goes into it for less than $5. But it seems they routinely do it for much less than that.

I have been using Pirate Ship. Rates are crazy cheap compared to retail. Earlier this year, I had to ship some equipment for repair internationally and my area shipper was quoting me nearly 2-3 thousand for shipping. The company that was doing the repairs offered to send us a label for shipping and they used their account and it came out to 1,200 dollars. It was 4 60 lb boxes. They used Fedex, but that got me to thinking for other things looking for a cheaper and faster way to ship some items for our company. That led me to service like Pirate Ship.
