I grew up in Iowa and I saw shite like this 20-25 years ago. These are rural villages under 10k people.

Both of my grandfathers did. Both grandmothers picked cotton. My mom and dad both did when they were young. Hell, my dad was hired by a plant out of the fields making $2.12 an hour in 1969. He was making $3.00 a day in the fields. All of my family, generations before me, picked cotton and worked as sharecroppers.
I'm just your average white guy who is thankful as hell that the cotton picker was invented and that my Pops got what turned into a good job that gave him the opportunity to raise his kids.

This one might be real. Look, I have been calling out hoaxes for years. I can remember years ago getting heat on this board for suggesting some racial incident was a hoax. And I turned out to be right.
However, hoaxes usually don’t have witnesses. They’re usually done in secret. Or, a claim is made that is virtually unverifiable, such as a claim that some random people did or said something racist to you.
This case, however, is referencing a specific event: a baseball game. It’s verifiable. There would be witnesses. Someone who is lying generally would not lie about something so easily verifiable.
Now, it’s not guaranteed that this person is telling the truth, but I don’t assume this case is a hoax like with many others.

The other stories didn’t have dozens of witnesses. This should be pretty easy to confirm.
