Please explain how you unload groceries, kids, or anything for that matter, from your car.
Maybe take extra precaution with COVID-19, but in normal life this is just being a germaphobe

You think your safe from the virus in your home?
According to the news your not.
That pizza they just delivered?
It's got the virus on the box.
The package you got from Amazon.
It's got the virus on it.
Your mail got the virus on it.
I read an article on msn that said the produce you get at the grocery could have the virus on it.
It said not to wash it with soap and water. That soap wouldn't kill the virus.
Then why are we supposed to wash our hands 100 times a day?
It's so much bullshite.

After reading articles warning of the dangers of bringing germs inside, I tried asking guests to remove their shoes when we moved into a brand new house in Texas 20 years ago. (We were not wearing shoes) Their reactions ranged from surprise to shock to anger and I was made to feel as though I was a bad hostess. These were a group of people from the church we had just joined, who were coming to our house for Bible study.
I gave up. I'd rather have people feel welcome and do more intensive cleaning.
Now we're in Florida and folks tend to automatically remove their shoes just because of the sand.

I don't live in fricking Japan. I live in America and I'll wear my shoes inside if I wanna wear my shoes inside.

My wife instituted a no shoes inside policy years ago.
Now that I'm used that I can't imagine wearing shoes in the house now.

The Japanese remove their shoes at most places, especially at restaurants. There is usually a long shelf /shelves for patrons to leave their shoes. It's an honor system. Can not see said honor system working here in the States.
