That capitalization of the word "Black" is very off-putting when you actually see it in use. That's going to irk people.

When I first heard of the idea, I thought it made sense, if you also capitalized "White."
Seeing at it in print, though, it just looks wrong. If they do that and then still write "white" that's going to piss people off. This is still a majority white country and I wonder if all of this horseshite is ultimately going to backfire. I can tell you, it's already made me more skeptical of other people.

When I first read that story, all I could remember was the capital B (and that they gave the races of those invovled). Then I reread to figure out what happened.
I don't want to be desensitized to that bit of grammer change, OTOH will we now see races mentioned in news stories, both positive and negative?
