I paid my Japanese friend to surprise some vets on their birthday. He dresses up in military garb and Waited until they were out for their walk, then jumped out from behind a bush and yelled “SURPRISE!”

Funny enough, I've been to PH twice. The first time I mised the last tour to the sunken site. My daughter and I did see a Japenese vet go after hours though watching from the deck. Alone. Always stuck with me. The second time was the regular tour. It's pretty haunting. Hard to describe. .

I wish I knew of a mechanism to do this for all of our older veterans.
