What about the Rusty Nail on Tom Drive. Great dive bar for rock music with cute bartenders. That was my haunt for a few years in the arly 90s.

So many choices. Can’t decide between:
1. Godfathers pizza upstairs across from the Chimes, drinking a pitcher of beer as spring testers without carding (rehearsed the story about only having our (newly minted) LSU ID’s and forgetting our licenses. This was back during the 18 yo drinking age days.
2. Murphey’s dollar calls
3. The Caterie with Allison Collins (the young version).
4. Gator bar on a Sunday.
5. The old Tabby’s blues box where they would have a cheap all you can drink keg available for just the cover price

Poncho's
There's one in Mesa, AZ. We went to Ponchos frequently as a kid, and this was identical. Like a fricking time machine of taste. Shitty Messican food but tasty AYCE... including sopapillas.

The old Mr. Gatti's Pizza right off of LSU's campus
Watched the Super Bowl there as an LSU freshman. On the way home, a friend got arrested for public intoxication across the street from our dorm. The campus cops saw him drop down in a stance and give a sign post a wicked forearm shiver. I think he was showing me how Randy White hit one of the Broncos.

They put a layer of cheese, meat on top of that, and then another layer of cheese on top. I loved that place. I've asked about it in a similar thread on here a couple of years ago, and nobody responded. Glad someone else liked it too.

That one is closed now.
There's 4 left in the Dallas area. Meant to go to one the last time I was in that area but it slipped my mind.

That was the place at Millerville and Florida right? Remember seeing the LSU memorabilia as a kid in there. Great food
