its pretty clear that is what happened. the guy was on one side of the aisle and schilling on the other, and the guy backed right into him. If you dont agree you are dumb...
Wait, so your justification for this is that a drunk dude accidentally bumped into someone who was walking up from behind him? I guess that is one take on the situation

so you are saying that the guy wasnt bouncing around and backed into schilling?
Do you think that was intentional? His back was to Schilling. Schilling then intentionally pushes him. First aggressive action goes to Schilling.
The guy then says something . . . who knows what. Schilling then bows up and gets in his face. Second aggressive action goes to Schilling. The action is then obscured by Schilling. Many of you say the guy is acting like he is going to punch Schilling. Maybe. It also may be the case that the guy was continuing his stupid bouncing around. I'm already on record saying the guy was an a-hole. The next clear aggressive action is again by Schilling, punching the guy several times.
Schilling may or may not face criminal action, but it's pretty clear who was the aggressor here.

Or, they are common sense people who take to the age old maxim of, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". I have no sympathy for some dumbass flexin on a dude twice his size, and finding out why you shouldn't do that. No civil suit is needed. No criminal charges needed. Simply, don't do stupid shite and you wont have to learn the consequences of doing stupid shite.
It's bizarro world in here.

Common sense people will have no empathy when the MMA dude gets prosecuted. He intentionally starts a confrontation by shoving him, and then resumes it by getting in the guy's face. The drunk wasn't bothering the MMA guy. Any reasonable person would view this as an aggressive guy baiting a shitfaced guy (conveniently with a camera filming).
Add to that the MMA thug inventing some stupid story about racism - again, frick him.

Any well trained fighter, especially against a weak drunk, can control and restrain that person safely without knocking him out with punches to the head/face.
Are you suggesting a non-trained fighter would have the right to defend themselves with punches to the head/face when threatened, but this mma guy has to ninja around with submissions in a crowded bar because his fists are too fast or hard?
The guy was intentionally acting like he was going to throw a punch and caught one instead. Are all mma guys supposed to assume every aggressor is not trained or lucky enough to do damage and give them a free shot before responding?

You're making stuff up.

It is very clear that he made a move like he was going to punch the big guy.

You responded to my question with a "yes".

I don't think that's clear. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.

An aggressive guy? He was literally walking back from the bathroom. The aggressor, was the guy acting like he was gonna hit the other guy. IF the same thing happened, and the guy wasn't an MMA fighter, just a big dude, there'd be no argument from you.

baiting a shitfaced guy (conveniently with a camera filming).
Conveniently? What, in your brain, do you think the reasoning for the filming is? Could it be that teh drunk a-hole was being a drunk a-hole for awhile, and caught everyone's attention?

Most reasonable people, MMA fighter or not, wouldn't have pushed the drunk a-hole and then gotten into his face. "Defend himself when threatened".

the dude bumped/ran into him and schilling moved him so he can continue to walk. schilling kept walking till the dude called out to him and when he turned around and the dude squared up to hit him and he knocked him out.
you can disagree on if he should have fricked him up or not but there is no argument on what happened. Its clear in the video.

I was agreeing that the big guy made the first aggressive move.
I am not so sure he made the second, because the drunk guy may have said something to him.
In my opinion it is clear that he acts like he is going to swing on big boy.

Even if he did it’s not justification to KO him when you’re a pro fighter.
this is the difference maker
if he was joe six pack no one would be calling him out
then he doubles down on being the least common denominator by publicly incriminating himself and the "feared for his life" bowullshit
what a fuggin maroon...
