Dog fight at Michigan PetSmart leaves beagle dead

quote:

Pussehl said a groomer at the store told investigators the pit bull had "old fighting injuries" around its face. "It does show there was a previous incident. But we don't have any factual information to show was it a wild animal that attacked the dog or was it another dog that attacked the pit bull," Pussehl said. The pit bull's owner was cited for violating the township's vicious dog ordinance, Pussehl said.

LOL

quote:

Sandy Owehus, another pet owner, agrees with her.

Owehus knows a thing or two about pit bulls because her kids own them.

"They all have pit bulls and the biggest thing they can do is probably lick you to death," Owehus said.

Cities should have Pitt bull turn-ins, like they do with guns.

Typical. My neighbor has two pit bulls. I have to fix a hole in the fence because the previous owner neglected it and the dogs just let themselves in to my backyard and bark aggressively at me and my wife.

They were trying to warn you that I was in your house, going through your wife's panty drawer.

Pitbulls were bred for hundreds of years to be bull fighters. When that was outlawed in Europe, they were bred to be dogfighters. Attacking other dogs is in their DNA, especially if they're male. You have to be really careful with them around other dogs.
