I wear Merrel Alverstone low hiking shoes for everything. Yard work, clearing brush, working on cars and so on. I’ve worn these things every day for a year. They still look brand new and are the most comfortable thing Ive ever worn.

An old pair of tennis shoes. Is that not what everyone else does?

Damn, those might be the ticket. Link?

Their called Swims

They're pricey though, so probably why I got down voted by so many haters.

Boom.

Not keen on any type of tennis shoes. At some point during the course of yardwork, they will get wet. Then you’re walking around with wet socks all day.

My feet. I only wear shoes when I have too so the soles of my feet are solid. Never had nail fungus or odor problems either

But what’s your hang up with crocs?

It seems you want ease and functionality. What’s the issue?

Yard shoes that aren’t Crocsby TCO
There has to be some alternative to these ugly arse shoes that can be used for general yardwork

They are for yard work. You worried about looking good while doing yard work?

Step 1: Buy a pair of Sperry’s

Step 2: Wear them every day for a year.

Step 3: Buy a new pair of Sperry’s.

Step 4: Use pair of Sperry’s from step one as yard shoes.

Rinse. Repeat.

I got a free pair of crocs for health care workers during Covid… I wear them to mow and work in the yard only. Hose em off and leave them outside… they’re indestructible
