Yea it was a joke you autist. I don't actually think you're 17. You are young if the razr came out when you were in middle school.

Well your kids are outliers then, because most kids have them when they're like 10 nowadays

I'm not sure what happen to mine, but I'm pretty sure I still have it in the attic. The commercial is total middle school nostalgia

My niece is 11 and she, along with most everyone at her school and dance, has one. It is crazy but it is the reality. Its basically where they play all of their games and stuff also and she rarely uses it for actually talk/texting.

Millennial = had a cell phone before high school

i think that's a bad cutoff. my kid won't have one before they are 16. but they're totally millenials.

I think you misunderstood his point. I believe he was trying to say that if cell phones came out and were popular with kids before you entered high school, then you're a millennial. In other words, if cell phones were all the rage when you were in 7th grade or earlier, you're a millennial.

Improbable. The Razr came out when you were 15-16, and even then, you'd have paid $700 or so for the damn thing at that point. They didn't drop in price and pick up in popularity until late 2005.

mine had them in the house and available to play around that age, so fair enough. but i see no reason for mine to have one before they're 16

i imagine most of us that aren't millennials (no offense intended) remember this as our first cell phone.

Holy shite. That was exactly my first phone. Then I 'tricked' it out with a different face plate and one of those super douche bag blinking antenna light things. Oh to be a teenager again. Wow, what a trip.

Will buy one just for a second phone.

T9 texting is actually a lot safer than an Iphone when it comes to driving. I used to be able to text multiple sentences without ever looking on my phone back in high school because they were still outlawed back in 2009 at my school.

Much better than having to look.

I remember when everyone had to call their parents to let them know practice was over, they would make a collect call, say their name the parent declined but thats what everyone did to let their parents know they could go pick them up.
