FedEx does it all the time. Had a package say delivered, never was. Then got an update a days later saying it was unable to be delivered and was left at a hub for pickup (Walgreens). Went to Walgreens and wasn't there. Contacted the shipping company and they resent the package and I got it fine and on time. Then magically a month later got a text saying a package was available for pickup at Walgreens. It was the original package lol. Frustrating to say the least, but I got a BOGO sale out of it I guess.

I just had one much better, an Amazon package that was delivered and a photo taken of it on my doorstep. The only issue is the package was completely empty, this situation does not jive with Amazon's help algorithm. There is no option for "delivered but empty". Took a week to resolve.

Had pics taken but not of my place, an Amazon driver who’s afraid of dogs but I have none (was 3 time s to wrong address), UPS that never found a 1500 dollar dry suit but a neighbor did on facebook it was miles away and 10 days later, doesn’t matter if FedEx, UPS, or Amazon…. we even had a driver dump a whole truck load in ditch a couple years ago…. Believe it was UPS and then FedEx hired the clown (or so rumor goes)… And if it’s a Sunday Amazon delivery do not expect it till Monday.
