As much as I would like to believe it, I’m not all of a sudden going to think most Ivy League professors are sane, rational humans.

I think that situationally that might be true, especially for some women who are already in a relationship.

That said, when women see a guy on TV with a beer gut they don't react the same way they do when they see Chris Helmsworth take off his shirt with a six pack. Its just human nature, try as Yale professors might to avoid it.
