Nothing wrong with that watch.

I have an Ecco-Drive and enjoy it. Mines not that busy though.

But mine is very "taste specific" which translates to ugly.

But does its job well. Checked it once. It lost ONE second over a 24 hour period.

Anyone have experience with Russian watches? I assume most of them are garbage, but I'm looking at a Boctok/Vostok. They are dirt cheap but some of them are really pretty.

I'd rather Wilson Watch Work's offering in that vein. If nothing else than to get away from that B&M brand. I'm not much for the mass produced brands.

$775

I really like this watch. Are Sea gulls reliable watches? The 112 price tag makes me weary for an automatic.

It should be fine. Probably just less jewels and a plastic spacer. No worries.

Vostok makes a Damn fine watch. I think those seagulls have a shite movement but I could be wrong.

I know you want to spend less than 200, but I found some great watches by Christopher Ward that are under $500.

Any movements in particular I should stick to or is most of their stuff solid? It's hard to find info on them.

I would try to stick to an ETA movement in an Automatic watch if it were me. Or the Chinese clone of the ETA. It's actually not a bad movement.

It's a lot of watch for the price. Gotta love Orient.
