2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4WD - $27,292

How's the deal on the 2011 if I can get it for $23K? or the 2013 for $25K?

Why not get the better vehicle in the 4Runner?

That old, with that many miles, at that price?

Hell no

I think they’re pretty lame and over priced.
A bad imitation of what an FJ once was.

Plus they stopped making them.

No...I wouldn’t drive.

No shite, you have to get an old bronco or something to not have I dependent front suspension. Not sure if they make any vehicles anymore that don't have independent front suspension.

Jeep Wranglers are solid front axles.

Just saying, independent front suspension can be a huge advantage offroad.

I actually like the FJ Cruiser, in particular the dark cherry color. Looks sharp.

That said, they get horrible mpg, which is important to me because I put a lot of miles on my vehicle.

Not familiar with the transmission on the FJ, but the 4.0 engine is pretty bomb proof. There was a run of 4Runners that had head gasket issues after about 100k-120k miles, but certainly in the single digits percent wise. Mechanically its a damn sound vehicle.

Between the two though, I'd go with the 2011. Only one owner, so fewer reason's to be concerned about someone riding it hard off road.

Wranglers, F250/350s, Ram 2500/3500s.

I've driven an FJ, terrible visibility. 4Runner all day over that thing.

I like 4Runners too, but I would end up being at $40K(after tax) for a new one. If they would do a new redesign then I would strongly consider it. But that is years from now.

I don't need too much vehichle. 5K miles/yr..
