Our kids pitch team just went and won their wooden bat tournament.
And our travel CP team came in 2nd in state last year

there are a few different "State" and "World Series" tournaments during the months of June and July. You can pick and choose which ones you want to go to and the dates you want to go. The one we are going to is in Orange Beach for the 4th of July, but thats just one of 5 or 6 that this park is hosting during the month of July

This is ridiculous. Had similar experience with an irate machine pitch coach a few weeks ago. This dude has a long rap sheet of LL violations Keep in mind we are talking 7/8 years.
His catcher blocked the plate without the ball with a runner coming into score. Ball comes in from CF...pitcher cuts it off and runs and tags the baserunner at home while the catcher is basically laying on the kid about a foot from the plate. HP ump (16 year old boy) called interference on the catcher and awarded the run...correct call.
This guy comes out and goes postal. Threatens to beat the kid...who then immediately changed the call to an out.
I was in the field, ran in and overruled the HPU and awarded the run. Now the guy wants to fight both of us. I toss him and the police end up basically dragging him off the field. TPOS move on his part.
Not to mention his team was skulldragging this other team.
They don't pay umps enough to put up with this schit.

According to op, the coach ran up to mother checking on her child and brow beat the mother,coaches and the kid about why he shouldnt be running full speed....
