I have high hopes for Bray vs Cena now. Hopefully it lives up to this Boneyard match.

Honestly in my book Taker and AJ pulled from a 5 to a 7.....if they would have had Taker v AJ in the Performance Center it would have probably sucked....I mean the guys like KO, Rollins, Zayn, and DB did all they could do but we knew those matches would fall short in an empty house. AND let's HOPE that WWE is done with Goldberg (maybe outside of Saudi).
ETA Tag title ladder match was good.....but it just lacked something without the damn teams.

Me too.....Prichard is a damn good gimmick match producer....I'm pumped for that one tomorrow for sure.
ETA I have a slight wonder if Cena can pull it off.....he'll have to use everything he learned in Hollywood because he never really did these matches in his full time wrasslin career.

Goldberg pops ratings
that's why he got the belt... he showed up on SD and the rating popped high
if his appearances continue to pop a good number in the ratings... he very well may get that belt again

I get all that...and you're not wrong but his appearances suck so much from an entertainment standpoint. At least out him in there with someone that can make him look good like Ziggler, Seth, Drew, or somebody like that. That thing with Strowman tonight was rough at best.

It was easily the most entertaining match on the card....and Taker's best match in WWE probably since the HBK match.

people who wanted to see a "wrestling" match think it was hokey & sucked
people who expected a cinematic-style fight in the form of every fight movie ever only produced by WWE got exactly what they expected and thought it was very good for what it was

that SummerSlam (I think) segment with Dolph was gold... and that's how he should be used

Really wouldn’t mind an entire PPV having the offset gimmick matches like the Boneyard match. Hell at least a match or two on a PPV here or there.
I wouldn’t mind a battle royal match that starts out with say 40 competitors in a huge circle and the only two ways you’re eliminate is being pushed out of the circle completely or pinned and once you get down to 30 then 20 then 10 and then down to 3 the circle area shrinks.

I'm actually now excited for the Firefly Fun House match tomorrow night
it should be an amazing horror show
I expect it to be MUCH better than the Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt House of Horrors match from a few years ago

Honestly I said a couple of weeks ago they should have done a gimmick match for every match on this card other that Lesnar v Drew and Becky v Shayna.

This WWE Chronicle is pretty good. It really sucks for Drew that his huge Wrestlemania international pop will be missing tomorrow night.
Tonight is probably better than what tomorrow night will bring. I think the FFFH match is going to be similar to the Orton-Bray match a few years back. The women's match will be a botch fest. The wild card is the NXT championship...I hope HHH was given full control of how it's booked. I suspected tonight would ho one of two ways and it's obvious they put on the stronger card tonight to entice the pay-per-night crowd to buy it tomorrow night.
