I don't even see why we had to take a match made by a suit-wearing lesbian seriously.

Rt3 better be taking notes!

m in the same boat, but the people I try to talk wrestling with who automatically default to “Fed bad” just piss me off.
All good Zap
How about “Fed mostly sucks”? Their presentation isn’t for me. But Orton Edge last year was pretty damn good. A good AJ Styles match is always fun. The Prince was awesome in NXT. That hour long match with Cole. Steiner is fun to watch. I’m an Eli Drake mark.

I’m pretty surprised they haven’t had any gay dudes or trannies on here yet
At least that I know Of

IWC guys are melting that Rhodes didn’t show up in Jax.
All because the dirt sheets told them he’d be there. And now they’re all crying blaming Vince for them sitting through the entire show. Like the guy hasn’t been doing this for 45 years.

I mean I agree wholeheartedly that Fed’s product is far from it used to be and I find myself more than ever saying “man, that sucked” but there are some bright spots that are starting to happen more and more often. I just think the biggest thing is that we’re all basing wrestling off of when we were kids and we’re never going to be able to see it that way again. It’s kind of like Christmas we love it and everything that comes with it, and passing it down to our kids and seeing how much they love it, but for us, there will always be some magic missing.
What I don’t like is the pretzel some try to make when WWE does something they don’t like but it’s ok when AEW, Impact, whoever does it because ________.

Supposedly Cody signed his contract….I’m wondering if they are gonna leave him as a surprise at Mania….not really the WWE M.O. lately but introducing Cody at Mania and then putting him in a top of the card matchup could work.

Sean Ross Sapp taking a deserved victory lap b/c he said there was no update on Cody... meaning no contract signed
he earned that victory lap

He could technically be introduced night 1 and set up for a match on night 2. Could be a way to get some extra pub for the weekend.

They’re about to start posting about how out of touch Vince is without the slightest hint that he hooked them into watching
Maybe each organization having moles writing for the dirt sheets is the way to bring a sense of kayfabe and pop back to the industry.

1000% absolutely on the mark true.
That’s what happens when we all grow up and see something in a different light than when we were kids. But IWC guys really think they’re going to find that magic they had as a kid again and it’s just not going to happen. Can’t look at the product like you did back then. It’ll never look the same

Might as well have Rollins issue an open challenge at Mania and Cody shows up then

The last words the announcers said was his wrestlemania dreams were “dashed” and he was living a “nightmare”.

quote:He fits on the same level as the Hardys. I hope they don't go the issuing an "open challenge" route. Do something slightly different. Have him whining the next two weeks and start hour 3 of the go home RAW with Pearce or the dyke saying "if you really want this match you need to sign this contract and we'll tell you when you get into the ring". That way you're continuing the wink to the smarks without offending our intelligence.
I’m wondering if they are gonna leave him as a surprise at Mania….not really the WWE M.O. lately
If they don't want him to be a surprise they ruined their chance to setup a match like the one with the Hardys. Could've done some kind of schmooze where it was a double DQ (laaaaaaazy booking!) or simultaneous pin where it changed that match to a 3 way. Then introduce Cody with those 3 in the ring. Let him get over a bit on SCSA before SCSA and KO brawl up the ramp and then have some crazy finish with him going over Seth.
I just don't see SCSA eating a pin (thus taking that honor away from Dwayne) but KO doesn't need to be jobbed out to a guy coming out of a 19 year retirement. I guess they could still add Cody and not have SCSA involved. Or maybe it starts with the KO Show and SCSA sets up a Cody-KO match. The problem then is who does Seth wrestle? Or does he come in causing Cody the match and thus setting up a spring feud. (I think Cody has/will ultimately be lured back by the promise of winning MITB.)

He’s a mid carder. See Ziggler, Dolph.

Are you saying Rock and Austin go again, with Rock retiring Austin?
If anything Rock retires eating the pin to Roman.
Austin winning a match at his age doesn’t make sense.
Posted on 3/14/22 at 11:42 pm to ThanosIsADemocrat
Austin is t doing this to eat a pin. It’s for nostalgia purposes only. KO has said many times that Austin is his idle and I’m sure he probably volunteered to get squashed. It makes zero sense for KO to pin Austin here.
