WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Not the Title Match You're Looking For Edition

1st off... congratulations to Angel Garza who got married over the weekend (I never knew Angel was the actual nephew of WCW wrestler Hector Garza, Jr.).
Really hope Charly was allowed to stand in the wedding and join in on the wedding night festivities
Here is Garza and his new bride getting engaged right after he won the WWE/NXT Cruiserweight Championship
In a rather unfortunate report... it appears Vince isn't on board with Aleister Black and his push is heading to the dumps. The report is Vince says Aleister is just "missing" something and Aleister is seen in the same realm as Cesaro... which means a damn good wrestler is destined for dumb feuds and random tag team championship partners with the occasional mid-card title reign thrown in there
The NXT wrestler who leaked the result of the Keith Lee/Adam Cole title for title match on NXT TV a few weeks ago made a public apology to the entire NXT roster and there is apparently no ill will being held against him for the leak
AJ Styles continues to stir up controversy... this time on his personal Twitch stream where he apparently said he'd never rule out a move to AEW. That's not saying he's going there anytime soon... just a "never say never" type statement
Don't ask Good Ole JR to ever book an intergender angle... b/c he won't do it and feels it's stupid
And some pretty big rasslin news in Japan as Pro Wrestling NOAH & the DDT promotion are merging. The 2 promotions already had the same owning group (Cyber Agent) this just officially brings the 2 together under 1 name... CyberFight. Big names you may know that came up from those 2 promotions... KENTA/Hideo Itami from NOAH & Kenny Omega from DDT
With Charly now crying in Ivar's beard since Angel is officially locked up... here is the preview for tonight's Monday Night Raw from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.
You may remember that Dolph Ziggler begged Drew McIntyre for 1 more title match and even said Drew could pick the stipulation so he'd get that shot? Well... WWE decided Ziggler doesn't deserve another title match so this meeting tonight between the two with Drew picking the stipulation is now a NON-TITLE match
A title that will be on the line tonight is the Raw Women's Championship where Asuka defends her title in an Extreme Rules rematch against Sasha Banks where the "champion's advantage" rules are tossed out... meaning the title can change hands on a DQ or countout
Randy Orton will kick off the show tonight by letting us know who he plans on punting in the head next
In a match to determine who will go to SummerSlam to challenge the Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championship... it'll be a triple threat match - The Viking Raiders vs. Zelina's Latinos (Andrade & Angel Garza) vs. Paul Heyman's Catering Buddies (Ricochet & Cedric Alexander)
With his "dad" out after having his eye "removed from its socket"... Dominik Mysterio will be on hand tonight to confront Seth Rollins over the whole eye for an eye feud

I would advise every foreign wrestler in the E to go over their finances with a fine tooth comb. If they can financially afford to do so, quietly ask to be released by the E. They have no plans for you- no matter what they say.

Edge and Daniel Bryan are both apparently working for WWE creative now. Edge is on Raw, Bryan is on Smackdown. There's some reports that say they are on the writing teams and some reports that just say they have a lot of creative pull, but it looks like they are probably working with the writers. The big question is, will Vince listen to them?
Speaking of WWE creative, Nick Aldis recently called out Bruce Prichard blaming him for Raw's ratings and other said some other nasty things. This probably won't help whatever is left of Mickie James' career.

Garza & Drew are the exceptions, not the rule. Look at how Drew was treated before he had to escape to TNA.
