The people used Friday were fillers/warm bodies. Doubt anyone there Friday is actually in the group.
Also, I don’t like how they started this angle. Should have been a longer slower build, the McMahon family confronts them, do a elimination style match between Retribution and Vince, Triple H, Shane, Stephanie, and maybe a token wrestler or two of their choice. If the Mcmahons win, they are all fired. If Retribution wins (which they would), then each member gets to challenge for any one title at time, once per member - basically their own individual MITB contracts but good for any title. Have them slowly take the gold. Build them up to be a new NWO of sorts.

I actually live in Senatobia. I knew the news ran a story on him years back when they were trying to raise money for a wheelchair. He either lost 1 or both legs to diabetes years back.

That could still happen.....maybe they consider messing up the sets to be the slow build....although I like your authority as the face angle....they've done a lot to reimage HHH and Steph (hell even Vince somewhat) from the days of the Corporation.

I knew the diabetes had put him in pretty bad shape. A friend of mine started wrestling in and putting on Indy shows not long after we got out of high school and met Kamala doing that and had been keeping in tough with him. He told me a few years ago that he wasn’t in good shape at all and mentioned the fundraiser you’re talking about.

I’m 34 and vaguely remember going to the studio to watch Memphis Wrestling. We went to Tupelo and watch the Moondogs and Jerry in the concession stand brawl. I used to be big into the Monday Night War then lost interest. I still lurk on wrestling nights and try to watch AEW when the kids aren’t going crazy.
