Granted he was spot on about those dumbass heel promos involving gas masks and vaccinations
It’s clear there are certain things/people that WWE Creative just does not know how to book properly right now, and he was one of them. Tag teams are the most glaring issue right now, IMO.

WWE really needs to use more of their roster, even if it as jobbers. What’s the point of bringing up a guy like EC3 if you aren’t going to even put him in token matches 2-3 times a month at least?
Do we need to see Corbin/Lashley/McIntyre/Elias vs Finn/Braun/Roman yet again?
Side note: Even though the Goldberg vs Undertaker is about 15 years too late, I don’t mind having these one off kind of matches. Not every match needs some storyline behind it. A great match can be its own story.

You expecting a great match out of Taker and Goldberg in Saudi? I'm not sure Goldberg was ever involved in a great match.....hell the only in ring story ever told in his matches was told by Hogan on Nitro.

Dean/Jon discussing his whole program with EC3 is a good listen too
basically says WWE blamed EC3 for not getting over as a face... and have buried him ever since... even though WWE put him in a no-win situation

the middle ground here is Dean gets the story... hates it... doesn't give it anywhere near his whole effort... when it ends up looking shitty he can just blame it on crappy writing
I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the whole ordeal

Dean brought up how on back in the day on Superstars it was a special treat to see a big name wrestle on tv. Now you've got about 200 wrestlers under contract and I think 8 hours a of tv time a week, including 205 Live, NXT, and Main Event. There just isn't enough time to feature everyone every week. You can give Roman a week off every now and then and put someone else in the main event.
