WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Cashin' In Edition
Posted on 6/3/19 at 5:27 pm

Raw is live tonight from the Frank Erwin Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin... and it looks like it will be a historic night for the WWE
But 1st off - Congrats to the now former WWE 24/7 Champion Jinder Mahal for winning the 24/7 Title... and the now 3-time WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth for winning it back (YouTube link)
Paul Heyman says Brock Lesnar will cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase TONIGHT on Seth Rollins... so we very well may have a Universal Championship match tonight on Raw
since Heyman announced the cash in previously on Twitter... no one will get bonus points for calling the cash-in tonight... so if you want those 10 FWL points, you best hope Lesnar somehow holds onto the briefcase past the end of Raw tonight
The Undertaker will make a rare appearance tonight to promote some match at some show in some far away country that apparently happens this Friday
Holla Holla Holla we got a 6-man tag team match tonight, playa... Roman Reigns & the Usos take on Drew McIntyre & The Revival
Rey Mysterio, Jr. will apparently vacant the United States Championship due to a shoulder injury suffered at Money in the Bank
Becky & Necky will continue to fight off the attacks of the Marine
& Sassy Southern Belle Lacey Evans
That & more tonight on Monday Night Raw

Will we get Brock doing the Charleston this week?
Posted on 6/3/19 at 5:41 pm to Prominentwon
nope. I fully expect Braun Strowman to ruin his eventual cash in as Brock did to him.

No way does Brock cash in. No fricking way.

Anyone listen to the Moxley interview on Talk is Jericho? I heard his interview with Wade Keller. He shits all over WWE. Its a good listen.

I haven't heard the interviews... but I've heard the synopsis of them
yeah he's apparently butchering the backstage/creative process in WWE
hell... I want to know the line Vince wanted Jon/Dean to say that he wouldn't say on air b/c it made him uncomfortable (and... in Jon/Dean's opinion... would've cost WWE some major sponsors)
what's more interesting is all the hype of more WWE people wanting to come out and talk "when they have more freedom"
ETA: it seems to imply it was something about Roman's cancer b/c that's what the timing would've suggested

He’s not cashing in.
I also am of the opinion that Brock will be leaving Raw tonight with the briefcase
but with WWE... you never know

It's way too early to cash in
They wouldnt have given him the briefcase if he would cash it in so soon

Brock will be champion at the end of Raw tonight. And deservedly so

He says Brock changed the ending to Summerslam last year. I didn't think Brock even cared about that kind of stuff.

Where Roman went over him?

quote:Definitely worth a listen. Vince and the WWE Creative Process do not come out looking good, to say the least.

If this whole situation does not cause the WWE to re-evaluate their creative process than I don't know what will.

I forget how Dean/Jon described how the ending was supposed to go totally... but it was going to end with the SHIELD back together and it was supposed to be a pretty big moment and a big ending for SummerSlam
Brock came in and basically changed the ending to what it was
ETA: the reforming of the SHIELD happened a few weeks later on a random episode of Raw

It was a DQ finish and had the stupid Braun cash in. Apparently that was all Brock, or at least the botched cash in.

He also said Brock shite on all his ideas for their WM match too.
But we knew that WWE creative sucked without Dean telling us that.....we also knew that WWE creative is basically Vince McMahon and we knew that all the damn writers they have know are scared of him.
The sheer number of writers is probably the biggest problem.....Vince, Russo, and Prichard wrote the whole of the attitude era themselves ....they didn't need a huge arse writing team....they also let the talent have input into their programs which is basically what Dean wanted. Until that happens it's going to be shite.
