Way to make Ricochet look strong as US Champion. Won it last night and got his arse whooped tonight. 
And no, idgaf that it was to AJ Styles. shite is dumb. It will be worse if AJ doesnt come back to actually challenge for the title now after he beat Ricochet. That makes the title look weak AF. "Yeah, I know I can kick your arse, but you can keep your little title."

It really doesn't make much sense for Ricochet to lose but it doesn't kill him yet....plus it was to another face....it's fricking Vince McMahon and his 50/50 booking BS you have to deal with it.

Just doesnt make sense. At least make AJ cheat or do some shady shite to win so it keeps Ricochet looking strong. There are ways to book this better where that happens.

For someone that claims to know how wrestling works, you sure are blind here.
He didnt “get his arse whooped.” He controlled most of it to make it look like he was on the way to winning it. But AJ is a top guy and a multiple time WWE champion while Ricochet is an intermediate champion. AJ goes over here every time to keep his place as a top guy, regardless of him not having a belt. The “veteran.” This is a way to keep AJ strong and Ricochet “close.”
How did I know I’d come here and see people complaining about Ricochet losing the night after winning the belt?
There’s a pecking order. Ricochet isn’t at the same level as AJ.

You’re wrong. Again, this is a slow Club heel turn. Having the Good Brothers out there keeps them relevant with the story with AJ. You don’t turn them immediately (how long have you been watching wrestling?) . you wait, probably right before SummerSlam, to turn The Club and have AJs first big match as a heel at the second biggest show of the year.

He was just competing for the Universal title. He doesnt need to pick on the new US champ to "look strong"
If anything it makes him look bad, to go from the top title to the bottom.

Yes, and IF he wasnt a CHAMPION, it's ok to lose but still have the respect afterwards feel good match. You dont have a guy win a title on Sunday then lose on Monday. it's ridiculous.
