so... congrats to Kota Ibushi, former WWE cruiserweight classic semifinalist, on winning the G1 Climax Tournament and earning the right to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th
also... fun news... the former Hideo Itami in WWE... KENTA... has turned heel and joined the Bullet Club with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, & Bad Luck Fale

Ibushi and Okada will put on a great match no doubt.
My overwhelming thing from this G1 Climax (caught up on a lot today)....Naito ain't near what he used to be. That dude put some miles on his body quick and it shows. He is way slow. At times I wondered if he was currently injured but I can't find any confirmation of that.

The Bullet Club hasn't really recovered since Balor, AJ, and the Elite left. I mean Haku's kids are OK and do good work, but it just seems off and has since late last year. We'll see what Itami can do. It doesn't seem like he is the one to bring it back but I could be wrong. We know Jay White wasn't the one for sure hah.

There's no way that got cleared beforehand nor will it ever be cleared by TV execs. We were in shock when he did that... the only saving grace was that it was after 10pm on the east coast. We'll find out soon just how bad that will be for his comeback... I'm sure Vince was on the phone with NBC Universal and possibly FOX to assure them it was a one time thing.
