With the internet and all the immediate info these days, that was about as good as it can get from a total swerve standpoint.

Well it was a different time and I was nearly 30,years younger ……BUT I think this is pretty damn close.

You could say this was as unexpected as Hogan was.

You could have never told me that Cena would turn heel on his retirement tour and I believe it

That elevates this SO much more that there wasn't even a single scent of this happening

It's a good thing Cena won the match or that would've been a dud.

WWE got lucky that John pulled through in the chamber.

It’s not Hogan turning heel but it is as close as it could possibly get.

Face cena would have gone after Rollins after he stomped punk. When he capitalized on the interference I felt something was up.

He is the new Kevin Dunn. Ran College Gameday during its heyday in the 2010’s. He’s who has driven the change to more “sports like” coverage and style.

What we need now is for Cena to ride this heel thing into the sunset for his career….and hand the belt to Rock as the champ from then and then we get to Rock v Reigns in NOLA.

Naw, that's was pure shock. This is nothing compared to Hogan -> NWO. People have talked about a Cena heel turn for 15 years. I'm not sure we'll ever see anything remotely close to that.

Does it feel odd to anyone else how they keep the show rolling immediately into the post show and they are talking about how shocking it was and in character and in about 5 minutes we go to the press conference and everyone is completely out of character?

I also thought why didn’t he help Punk recover after that.

I said it already but this immediately propels him to all time greats and he was already there TBH. He needed a 2nd heel run to cement his legacy as untouchable.

I love that we live in an era where someone isn't gonna go on a 10 year face run anymore. Cena's face run lasted exactly 22 years. That will never ever happen ever again. Praise this dude for doing the actual unthinkable.

He would have been white hot even without a heel turn considering this is his last year. Please Jesus give us a Word Life type theme.

Yea I don’t like the PC with the talent….if HHH wants to do a presser about the event fine but no talent for the reasons you stated.

Seeing a lot of that on X.

Scott being in the ring made it even better.

Every bit of that was absolutely perfect. Excellent work by all those guys.

He did play a part of anyone noticed. He handed Cena the Rolex while they were in the corner
