WWE hasn't been essential since the Attitude Era and the Monday Night wars.

There is absolutely no reason why any combat sports (boxing/MMA) or WWE/AEW can’t be operating right now. The safety precautions they are taking are more than satisfactory.

The UFC had a private island lined up to fly the fighters in on small planes. Yet the Democratic governor of California put pressure on Disney/ESPN (who owns the UFC), and forced their hand.

That’s the difference between Democrats and Republicans right now. Democrats want this to go on for as long as possible. They enjoy the power of overreaching into peoples lives.

There is absolutely no evidence in either of those stories. Just some alleged timelines that some guy says he “pieced” together

It’s what the media does best. Speculating and creating news is their specialty.

Linda McMahon is in Trump’s cabinet. Everyone knows this. They could literally pick and choose ANYTHING positive that happens for WWE and claim that “it’s only because McMahon has ties to Orange Man!!!”

Your story is a little incorrect. The event that was canceled was to take place in California on an Indian reservation. Regardless, there is horse racing that is currently going on in California in the middle of L.A. where 6 or more teams of 3-4 people pile up in the paddocks for like 10 races a night. That is many more people than would be in a arena for a UFC event. This leads me to believe the shutdown was political since Dana white is a big supporter of trump.

Corruption is corruption regardless of political party. But 90% of the OT won't acknowledge that.

She hasn't been in it for over a year. If she still was you'd be hearing the MSM make a big stink about this hurting small businesses while hers was allowed to continue.

Linda is the head of the Trump super Pac so she is in a position to spend a lot of money in a swing state like Florida.

They own the broadcasting rights not the UFC. But yes, the governor put weight on Disney to not air anything. I've also heard the Indians' sovereign status was threatened by the Democrats.

Watching this Ruthless Aggression night on FS1 with Brock's episode. Kind of ironic how they dedicated almost a whole segment to WM XX considering they both left for the 1st time after it. Would've been much better on them for THAT WM to be without fans rather than this year's.

It's funny that they're filling Tuesday nights with essentially 3 hour infomercials for the WWE Network. I am still holding out hope that they run some classic programs rather than these documentaries.

ETA: Bug eyed black man from 30 would be rich if he got a royalty for everytime his image was used.

If you go to the UFC Wiki page, it will tell you who now owns UFC. It is not now, nor was it ever, Disney.
