Wart.
2 options. Get a sharp knife and slice it off (get under the skin but don't hit muscle)

Or burn it and the cover it with air tight adhesive (super glue or duct tape)

I'll second this.

Had a wart right above my kneecap a few years ago. If you cut it out with a knife you gotta dig below and get the whole thing.

Also while cutting it out with a knife make sure to pound whiskey so it doesn't sting as bad.

And make sure knife is sterilized.

...or a doctor can do it with local anaesthetic so it doesn't sting, a knife that's actually sterile, sew it back up, and send it off to confirm it's not cancerous for likely a small copay.

Yeah took my son for a bump on his face to the fill in pediatrician (a woman ) and she gave him a script for cream for impetigo and said it could be skin cancer. fricking idiot

Went to a derm. They cut it off the same day and said it didn't look like skin cancer and when we went back to have the stitches taken out he told us it was an abnormal growth of sweat glands

Just saying, skip the gp. They don't know really and a derm could possibly diagnose and remove it the same day. I generally recommend seeing your gp first and getting referred out but the pediatrician just scared me and wasted our time

I actually agree with Paige about going straight to dermatologist on this one. However, I think it looks like a wart. A really gross wart.

Kind of the exception rather than the rule when it comes to performing in-office procedures. But hey, your leg, man. See someone.

Really? A gp could remove it?

My son's was on his cheek and I wouldn't want my face cut on by someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with it. He explained exactly how he was cutting it out and why he was doing it that way
