I don't really think it's woke. I remember people talking about in college 10-15 years ago. It was basically a Thanksgiving meal with your friends before everyone went home for the holiday.

I'm saying it's a thread about what someone calls a holiday and it's not that serious no matter what directions someone takes it. Some of us just like to have fun and get people riled up. It's not like OP started a thread letting everyone know he's dying of cancer. I for one know when it's appropriate to "troll" and when it's not.
ETA: I'm not actually even trying to troll, mostly just a reactionary post to make me laugh. Not really a want to piss people off post.

Most people who do Friendsgiving do it the weekend before Thanksgiving. But yes, it does come from the show Friends. They always had Thanksgiving shows and rarely Christmas.
