I thought I was a 23 year old that lived in my parents basement, which is it?

Hard to keep your story straight when you’ve wrecked your brain like that I guess

You should be a little less secure based on your past behavior to be fair

WTF is your deal where you always have to flex on people who are mostly happy with their lives?

You seem like a miserable person.

Brother, you follow my posts around trying to talk shite. I could give a frick less, but when you start that game I have a hell of a lot more ammo than you. Don’t step into the arena if you don’t want to play the game.

In general, I don’t make people say stupid shite and/or lie, but don’t whine and get mad at me when I say something about it. No one made them do that other than themselves

Well I worked with a 21 year old Toolmaker who started at 44 a hr at Toyota. He got there with OT

Lots of them got paid 40$ a hr to go to school 3 days and work 2 days a week. Getting the apprenticeship.

College should still be encouraged.
Nothing wrong with a trade either.

They will have made $275k during the 4 years that their college peers were obtaining a degree only to fight for a $50-60k job and end up in six figures of debt...

Dude if you learn to be a competent welder you can make a ton of money and will always have a job. Travel around and make bank while you’re young and then settle down with no debt.

The OT loves a good argument over people entering the trades. This will be like fodder for both sides.

Not everyone should go to college.

There's nothing wrong with honoest physical labor.

There’s a lot wrong with it, which is why it shouldn’t be your first choice if possible, no matter how many lies the OT tells. Better than retail or fast food or some shite, absolutely, but nothing to strive for if you have other options

Tool makers make good money. I got a buddy who is a tool and die maker at Schneider Electric in Lincoln. Makes around $45/hr. And he started out getting like 18 or something on the floor putting circuit breakers together. 6 years later apprenticeship complete making even better money.

College isn't for everyone

Industrial electrician is the way to go. Not very physical. Pays well and is mostly fricking with equipment that has had band aid repair after band aid repair for decades and now looks like a birds nest of wires.

Most people making $70k can’t afford to put almost 30% of their pretax income into a 401k

Ok. But 10%. I’m sure they can put away at least $12,000.

Which would still be less than a million dollars, further proving your point was stupid

Heck yes. A good weekend of busting arse makes one feel like a man.

20 years of busting arse 8-10hrs 5-6 days a week makes one feel like an old broke down man.
