Not everyone keeps up with the topic of the day. Last week at a group work lunch, someone mentioned going to Laurel, TX. I immediately asked them 'Where is Yanni, TX?'
Nobody got the joke, they just stared at me for a sec and then carried on with the discussion about Laurel.

I saw the whole yanni, laurel shite on the web and this would have still went over my head. Mostly because I’m stupid.
