Given the huge distances involved, these visits aren't a yearly event. It is logical to assume they are exploring other solar systems as well. Judging from what I've learned on AA (the show, not the rehab), they made a lot of contact in ancient times and only mild contact since.

There are nothing but a bunch of theories, each contradicting (or at least being inconsistent) with all others. Even Harvard Magazine has acknowledged this as a FACT. They still debate whether slave or skilled labor built the pyramids.
