I would do it for $250,000

Super Max in Colorado would actually be the easiest place to do a yr. Everyone their is isolated to one man cells and only get an hr a day of yard time as long as the weather is good.

A yr is nothing to serve. The first month is the toughest but after you get past that point it's easy going

How much time have you spent in 23 hour lockdowns? A year in isolation can't be anything close to "easy"

It's all about setting up a routine. Wake up early and go to bed early. In between you can meditate, read books, workout, nap, play dominoes, and maybe even watch tunes. It really wouldn't be the end of the world

If you don't make 350K take home annually and won't take that deal you're either a pussy or retarded. There's people in this state who have jobs that suck worse than going to prison and they don't make 500k. The only hard part is no freedom to go anywhere but it's only a year.

Depends on the person. Most people need to interact with other people but some of us can keep our minds occupied on our own.

I could easily go a year without talking to anyone with $500k (tax free) on the line.

For a couple of million you'd have to drag my arse out of there

SuperMax is a 23-hour per day solitary facility, you're allowed an hour to walk a small yard under watch but no one else is in the yard besides guards. It's total isolation. Former guards have been interviewed and it cracks every single prisoner. Some last longer than others, but eventually they all suffer severe mental breaks and are driven insane. So, no, you can't pay me enough to spend a year in SuperMax.

If this is what I'm looking at, from "25th Hour":

So picture this --
first night, lights out.
Guards are moving out
of the space,
looking back over their
shoulders, laughing at me,
"You are miles from home."

Door closes, boom --
I'm on the floor, I got some big guy's knee
in my back. I can give it a little go, but
there will be too many of them. Someone takes a pipe out
from under a mattress, starts beating me in the face -- not to hurt me, just to knock
all my teeth out so I can give him head
all night, and they don't have to worry
about me biting.

We're talking at least 20 million.

Part of the way I earn my living includes doing some consultant/clinical work in jails. There is no way you could convince me to live in one of those frickers for any amount of money. Life is just too short as it is.

That would be my price for 6 hours. A year? frick no. You can piss that money away on a bad investment. Plus I'm a 5'6 155 lb white guy, so yeah, I'm guessing there would have to be a lot of dick sucking and anal raping involved for me to possibly survive, and even if I did, I've probably got a nice bucket of AIDS coming out of prison with me.

You're going to have to put that up to a few billion, like enough to pay for the best therapist on the planet and to never possibly run out of money.

His scenario is the Colorado Supermax. All solitary confinement.
